With enthusiasm we announce that the Specialization Course in Word Art Therapy for doctors, dentists, psychotherapists and osteopaths will begin.

​

All those who have an interest in this discipline will be able to experience   directly on themselves the beneficial effects of which this Art brings.

​

Theory and practice will be investigated in an interactive way in the various anamnestic areas of Word Art Therapy on the basis of the contents of anthroposophical anthropology, which will help to understand an enlarged, living and dynamic image of man.

There will be references to dentosophy, such as listening and perception of what the mouth wants to tell us, and to phoniatry, as a further study of breathing, articulation, voice and linguistic-communicative skills.

The course will start in February 2023 in Bolognaat the Stella Maris headquarters

​

It is a three-year course structured over 12 weekends, with 4 meetings a year. Each weekend is structured throughout the day on Saturday (9-20) and on Sunday morning (9-13).

This course has been designed to introduce idoctors, dentists, osteopaths and psychotherapists  at the Art Therapy of the Word.This discipline, still little known in Italy, was born in the early 1900s in Germany as a therapeutic specialization in the field of the art of the word "Sprachgestaltung".

Art unites expression, perception and creative will. The ability to express oneself artistically is in every man. This faculty can be awakened and fertilize a therapeutic work. In purposeful artistic work, the patient experiences himself as a co-creator of his own healing process. In the encounter with sounds, gestures and movements, he experiences a new level of reality that arises through a process of formation and development of his perceptions of the world and of himself. These are the foundations of art therapy that have developed from the collaboration of theDr Rudolf Steinerwith theDr. Ita Wegman.

L'Speech art therapyhas an innovative approach to work on the voice, mouth and larynx. With its medical, anthropological foundations and in particular therapeutic practice, it adds, integrating them, the aspects covered by the linguistic re-education practiced in the  Logopedia, and with  the framework doctor of speech and voice disorders of the Phoniatrics.

In it the movement and communication skills of the human being are exercised and activated from a functional, bodily, phonetic, expressive, emotional point of view and from the point of view  of the manifestation of the profound personality, of formulation of his ideas and  of his reflections, making it possible to manifest the particular spirit of each one.

The course would likeintroduce this discipline in a theoretical-practical way following, in the study program,  the most advanced anamnesis criteria developed in this area.

The clinical-anamnestic observations are oriented on four different levels according to a quadripartite conception of man which allows for a very dynamic phenomenological observation model. The human being who at first seems indivisible and inviolable, if observed in his deepest nature through four specific modalities,  ci appears composed of  a complex group of bodies_cc781905 -5cde-3194-bb3b-136bad5cf58d_ which are interconnected with each other. Being able to separate them, to observe them individually and  in their interrelations, can help us to formulate a very specific diagnosis.

We mention here only briefly the four bodies to better introduce the course contents:

• Man has a physical body for which the laws of chemistry and physics are valid as well as for any other inanimate object of the mineral kingdom.

• In common with the vegetable kingdom, man has an organization of formative forces which keeps the organism alive and sustains it through processes of growth, reproduction and regeneration and this is the vital body or etheric body.

• Animals, like man, have feelings, impulses, desires, experiences, which we do not find in plants. The organ that makes this consciousness possible is, like the vital body, supersensible, i.e. we can only see its manifestation. This organization  we call the emotional, soul or astral body.

• The human being with his self-awareness goes beyond the animal, he has an ego as a fourth constituent body which distinguishes him from the other kingdoms of nature and places him in a kingdom of his own. He can think, imagine, voluntarily remember, do free actions, can articulate a speech and can be creatively active.

In the Art Therapy of the Word, the anamnestic collection  is divided into seven large areas through the observation: - of the gait, - of the breathing, - of the voice, - of the articulation of the language, - of the teeth and of the mouth, - of thought and - of the ability to perceive language.

It can then be evaluated how each of these  areas manifests itself  in a differentiated manner in the four constituent bodies, thus the anamnesis expands to seven dimensions on four levels.

In therapeutic practice  normal the diagnosis according to   the main anomalies in the seven areas is sufficient.

In  very complex clinical cases, the patient can be perceived in his manifestation in each of the 28 areas of observation and this allows to create an even more complete and specific anamnestic picture.

The training course of this course would like to give participants the opportunity to deepen theoretically, but also practically, through various exercises of the Art of the Word, these 28 anamnestic areas.

In each of the 12 appointmentsan anamnestic area will be addressed with a specific study  of how it differs in the four levels  linked to the constituent bodies.

The observation of the emergence of speech, of the foundations of support for correct phonation, represents a first part of the work  for the expansion of the therapeutic tool; the other important area for a doctor is the use of speech in communication and in the relationship  with the patient.

The goal of developing a new awareness in this direction is proposed through the deepening of themethod developed by the Dutch Coenraad Van Houten: ”DIALOGUE AS AN ENCOUNTER: the seven activities of the ego in the encounter with another human being”.

It is a path that leads to  a deepening of one's own communication and relational skills in the professional  field and beyond. This path is realized in the theoretical and practical deepening of  seven specific activities of observation, introspection and communication that will be exercised separately in the individual meetings and,  in the final part of the path , will consolidate in giving life to a practical and effective tool for relating to the patient. The specialization course takes place over three years

The specialization path develops over three years and will begin in February 2023. Each year the study is divided into 4 weekends (Saturday and Sunday until 1 pm) for a total of 12 modules.
In addition, an intensive, orientativ module will take placeapprox. a week, for those who want the qualification certification ofspecialization in the Medical Section of the Goetheanum Free University of Spiritual Science, Dornach. We would like to be able to carry out the intensive week together with the Art Therapy Training of the Word, by agreement with the participants, in one of the following places: Ephesus, the mysteries of the Word, Turkey; Chartres, the word as manifestation, the word as meaning, France; Goetheanum, Dornach, the word as Gestalt, healing structure, Switzerland.

AWARDS AND CERTIFICATIONS

The Specialization Course in Speech Art Therapy is organized by the Stella Maris Training Body. The latter has been recognized by theiARTe - International Association of Anthroposophic Arts Therapies Educations, of which she is a member, works in accordance with the iARTe guidelines and is recognized  by theSection of Medicine of the Free University of Spiritual Science of the Goetheanum, Dornach (Switzerland).It is also recognized byYES BUT. (Italian Society of Anthroposophical Medicine).

At the end of the course, in order to obtain the certificate from the Medicine Section of the Dornach Free University of Spiritual Sciences, it is necessary to have completed the12 weekends in three years (4 yearly), 1 intensive week of about 8 days. To do this it is possible to join and participate in one or more intensive weeks of the Training Course in Art Therapy of the Word. The dates of the latter will be set annually with the participants starting from September 2022 because we would like to be able to carry them out over the first three years, by agreement with the participants, in the following places: Ephesus, the mysteries of the Word, Turkey; Chartres, the word as manifestation, the word as meaning, France; Goetheanum, Dornach, the word as Gestalt,

rehabilitation facility, Switzerland.

The course issues CME credits, 12 credits per module/weekend

for a maximum of 48 credits per year
