Anthroposophical Color Art Therapyfinds strength in a non-verbal approach that promotes salutation, favors rebalancing and a condition of psycho-physical fullness. It is based on the observation of the person, his creative process and the artistic elaboration.

Pictorial makingit becomes an experience through which to read the soul-emotional, and organic-vital condition. In the act of painting, the Art Therapist recognizes all the processes that take place in the organs as color processes, and any imbalance or suffering is considered as a corruption or deviation from the pure color that lies behind the corresponding vital process.

​

Since ancient times, healing meant recreating the lost unity by getting closer to the archetypal image of the creative forces of spiritual origin, from which to receive new regenerating and life impulses. Anthroposophical color art therapy aims to activate these same life-giving impulses so that not only the physical-vital resources, but also the forces of the heart are involved in the recovery effort.

In the individual and very personal palette of chromatic-biographical combinations present in each of us it is possible to artistically read the individuality that is hidden there, and in the present obscured by suffering, and to glimpse in the temporal unfolding of the art-therapeutic path the healing Ego that awaits be disclosed.

A new profession in constant growth, recognized by national and European bodies which will also allow you to collaborate with high-profile professionals, such as doctors, psychotherapists and pedagogists.

THE STELLA MARIS METHOD

​

The intimate and living experience of Rudolf Steiner's Essence of Colors is the substrate on which the Stella Maris Method is activated, which arises from the fruitful multi-year collaboration between the art therapist Carla Borri and the doctor Angelo Antonio Fierro; it has imprinted the characteristics of an encounter between rigorous scientificity and life-giving creativity that places the protection of the human being at the centre.

The Stella Maris method is a path marked out in well-orchestrated phases that match vital processes to accompany the client in his transformation.

​

The opening of this path includes four fundamental exercises plus one free one which are used to conduct the preliminary observational investigation to create the orientation image of the individual. It is these exercises in discipline that recall the archetypal gestures of colors that Steiner calls Splendor.

 

The one who paints thus shows himself in his freedom of being able or not to be able to follow the indications received; from this arises the possibility of grasping the individual problems in progress, i.e. the imbalances that are at the origins of its difficulty.

All of this is rendered objective and objectifiable through a method of reading the drawings which follows the client's creative process hand in hand and is based on criteria which sink their meaning into the laws of Art, not encroaching on the psychological or interpretative sphere.

​

There are various professional fields for Color Art Therapists:

in schools and kindergartens, in curative education and social therapy, in clinics, sanatoriums and rehabilitation centres, in prisons, in addiction treatment, in prevention and health promotion, in emergency interventions, in work with refugees and in medical practices.

​

• The THREE-YEAR courseis aimed at those who wish to work specifically in the educational, preventive and welfare fields with groups (children or adults). SIAF recognition (professional category association) according to law n.4/2013

• The FOUR-YEAR pathis aimed at people who intend to use Color Art Therapy as a remedy in the educational, preventive, welfare, health and rehabilitation fields with individuals (individual therapy with children and adults) and groups;SIAF + iARTe recognition(Section of medicine, Dornach) and SIMA (Italian Society of Anthroposophical Medicine).
