GOALS

The Art Therapy Training of the Word aims to restore value to the word not only because it deepens its form and origin, but also to disclose the therapeutic value that is found in it. The word is a specific tool of man which differentiates him from the other three kingdoms of nature. If it is pronounced in a plastic, lively and aware way it can harmonize the whole human being, because when it is harmonious it is its most intimate and profound expression. The guidance of the breath, the guided emission of the sound, the ability to know how to give a direction to the sentence are all aspects that require a particular and attentive presence and, if taken care of, can lead to an ART THERAPY OF THE WORD.

ART THERAPY OF THE WORD

Speech art therapy aims at rebalancing breathing, vocal emission, articulation of language and its logical and expressive structuring. It not only takes care of leading to correct functionality (upright posture, correct basic lingual posture and swallowing, harmonious and deep breathing, clear articulation, fluid speech) but working both on the muscles which leads to a correct production of individual sounds, both on the correspondences of the same and the various organs, it helps the rebalancing of the latter. The development of an anthropology that sees the phonatory apparatus and its parts as the somatic basis of the psyche, in many specific correspondences with constitutional and personality aspects, represents a concrete possibility of anamnesis and profound diagnosis, individualized and attentive to the whole person. All this can help to understand what evolutionary stimulus is hidden in overcoming a  disequilibrium. Knowing how to develop all the original potential of the word in its being the synthesis of a clear thought, expressed in a culturally interesting and rich form and with a clear and correct intention, is the task of the therapist with the Art Therapy of the Word.

EDUCATIONAL PATH AND OPPORTUNITIES

The therapeutic tool is the voice, hearing and movement of the therapist himself, therefore the training path presupposes a profound work on oneself. The deepening during the training of solid foundations of anatomy, physiology, anthropology, psychology and pathology, which are based on the principles of Anthroposophic Medicine, aim, together with continuous exercises of sensory perception, to build an effective therapeutic and diagnostic capacity. The college undertakes to create training and information projects on the discipline for doctors and dentists, psychotherapists, osteopaths and other health professionals to prepare a future ground for professional collaboration with Word Art Therapists.

OUR TRAINING PROPOSALS:

THREE-YEAR COURSE: Training of 1200 hours, including internships and laboratories. Training takes place over 2 years of lectures (10 WE per year plus intensive week) and self-study work, as well as internship during the third year

The first two years are dedicated to theoretical and practical study followed by an internship, insights into ethics and a final thesis.
This gives basic skills on the use of voice and dramatization, deepening of Modern Learning paths for Adults according to the method founded by Coenraad van Houten and Theory U developed by the German economist Otto Scharmer. It also includes insights into anatomy, physiology of the larynx, the vocal apparatus and body movement in space as well as anthropology.

At the end of the course, the internship and the presentation of a term paper, you receive the CERTIFICATE of TRAINING in ART of the WORD artistic health genetics social SIAF Italy

Participants can operate in areas of a social, artistic and educational nature by offering artistic courses of theatrical expression and acting for all age groups with particular hygienic-pedagogical qualities, care for social relations and modern learning and communication paths for adults._cc781905 -5cde-3194-bb3b-136bad5cf58d_

The Stella Maris Association supports the start-up of projects and the connection with various institutions working in the area, accompanying those who have already finished the first path towards practical achievements. 

THE FOUR-YEAR COURSE: 3,000-hour training, including internships and workshops. Training takes place over 4 years of lecture (10 WE per year plus intensive weeks) and self-study work, as well as internships during the third and fourth years.

This completes the hygienic experiences with the basics of psychology and knowledge of biographical and personality development laws and further deepens the artistic and dramatization skills and with the experimentation of new acting techniques. This includes an internship.

Upon completion of the course, one obtains the RECOGNITION in ART THERAPY of the SPEECH with an Anthroposophical Address from iARTe (International Association of Anthroposophic Arts Therapies Educations), the SIAF Italia certification and the degree of preparation has been reached to support the CERTIFICATION in THEATROTHERAPY of the FAC._cc781905 -5cde-3194-bb3b-136bad5cf58d_

At the end of the course, participants can work in collaboration with doctors and in social and educational fields starting from the coordination of the management of activities in school structures up to support and care centers for the elderly, minors and foreigners and structures that deal with those with physical and mental problems.

THE STUDY PLAN

The study plan is divided into 2 (plus internship and thesis) +2 years and requires an annual commitment of 10 face-to-face weekends, 3 online study evenings per month, 1 intensive week in class, work at home and from the third year the internship.

We would like to be able to carry out the intensive weeks, by agreement with the participants, in the following places: Ephesus, the mysteries of the Word, Turkey; Chartres, the word as manifestation, the word as meaning, France; Goetheanum, Dornach, the word as Gestalt, healing structure, Switzerland.

The part of the study plan specifically dedicated to the Art Therapy of the Word has a structure over the 4 years that builds, leading to a practical study, a quadripartite image of man. Every year the aspects of the phonatory and dental apparatus, of the language corresponding to and constituting one of the 4 bodies are studied in depth: the first year of the physical body, in the second year of the vital/etheric body, in the third year of the emotional/astral body and in the fourth of the nucleus of the personality, of the ego.

Admission takes place through an individual interview and/or after participation in the introductory days.

CONCESSIONS 
The training course can also be attended for just one year for those who have a simple experiential cognitive intent, with the freedom to continue and complete the course

LECTURERS AND RESPONSIBLE

The school is made up of numerous high-level teachers and a board of directors. Furthermore, the lessons of anatomy, physiology, anthropology, psychology and pathology will take place in an interdisciplinary way with two other formations: color art therapy and music therapy. There will also be moments of theoretical and practical comparison on the topics covered between the three formations.

ACKNOWLEDGMENTS

Training in Therapeutic Speech Art is carried out by the Stella Maris Training Body. The latter wasrecognized by the International Association of Anthroposophic Arts Therapies Educations iARTE, of which it is a member, works in accordance with its guidelines and is recognized by theSection of Medicine of the Free University of Spiritual Science dated  Goetheanum, Dornach (Switzerland).

It is also recognized by SIMA(Italian Society of Anthroposophical Medicine) and is registered with SIAF Italy, thus giving students who have completed the training course the opportunity to be registered in the professional register of "Word Art Therapists" at SIAF/FAC.

For those who complete the Training, the request for Qualification Certification recognized by iARTe International Association of Anthroposophic Arts Therapies Educations and through it by the Medicine Section of the Free University of Spiritual Science at the Goetheanum, Dornach (CH ).

At the end of the first two-year period, the internship and the completion of the thesis, one receivesthe CERTIFICATE of TRAINING in ART of the artistic-social health genetic WORD from SIAF Italy. 

At the end of the second two-year period, theRECOGNITION in ART THERAPY of the WORD  to Anthroposophical address of iArtand theSIAF Italy CERTIFICATE.
Completion of the course constitutes preparation for the certification exam for SIAF/FAC state accreditation as a theater therapist.
